Zzzzzz the whole night

The mid year's finally over! And a confirmed F coming my way. Physics was a killer! Ok maybe it was only to me. The others said it was do-able. Nonsense! Ay i didn't study for it anyway. I mean what kind of student starts studying only from 11 to 2 the night before? Not counting the huge amount of time spent playing puzzlebobble on my handphone, walking around the house, drinking water etc etc etc.

Orchard was definitely infested with jc students today. Especially nj and vj students. Every few metres and we'll see a group of them. And how many mj students did we see? A measly 5. Is it because our exam ain't exactly over yet (but it's just a listening compre tomorrow, hello?)? Or is because mj students just prefer TM to orchard (uhuhuh)? Or is it because -drum roll- mj students are no-lifers (oh please don't tell me this is it)?

Met pei mun, cherri and shi ni today. Man shi ni looks so good now! Especially her hair. Love it! :)

I so wanna try clubbing/pubbing at the end of this year. Wondering how i would get the money though. Hope it'll rain dollar notes soon. Gosh do i sound like someone who only loves money, money, money? Oh well.

This could be the most number of times i felt zzzz for a day. You know, static? It was just so crappy. For every 3 times my hand made contact with Wei Huey, we would feel static once. It's so strong that it can even pass through the mj uniform (surely you know how freaking thick it is). There was this once when we could even hear the zzzzz sound. Made us like some mad girls, suddenly jumping away from each other right in the middle of the esprit store.

The new thai horror movie, Six, ain't nice. Don't catch it. The plot's kinda stupid. Not worth the 8 bucks at all. So yeah don't catch it.

2 down, 1 more to go

Yay-ness! 2 paper down, 1 more to go. Uhuh physics. Definitely not my cup of tea. As you can see, i'm taking it really easy. Haven't started on anything yet and ain't gonna do anything any time soon i reckon. It's gonna be a freaking F anyway.

Math paper made my day. :) I thought it was just alright. Oh what i mean by that is i'm hoping i can get an E for it. Yes, an E. Anything higher than that would seriously be a miracle. Still made me one happy girl though. My best paper for the mid year's! I think.

New timetable for the new term. 3 cheers! Friday now ends at 2. Great great great. Finally. Lucky the 2 periods of chinese are still the last 2 slots for tuesday. Only bad thing is i end at 1230pm on wednesday and will have to wait till 2 for cca. What am i gonna do to pass my time? Ahhh sucks.

I forgot to bring my eraser yesterday. Today i forgot to bring my liquid paper. Must be the result from all that last minute cramming.

I think some teacher came here. Not too sure though. But seriously, who else but teachers will put 'meridian jc stress mid years blog' as their yahoo search criteria?

I'm typing like real slowly now. All that writing must have gotten to my fingers. Or is it the keyboard? Or is it 'cause my computer is once again lagging bad. Took like 3 tries to type the correct password to access msn and another 3 tries to access blogger. Like what the hell? Not counting the many times i've had to backspace while typing this entry. Always missing out an alphabet or more. Crap.

So looking forward to tomorrow. The last day of school till like the following monday. Woot! :)

Words from spiderman

"With great power comes great responsibilities" -Spiderman

Then why do we have such huge responsibilities when we don't even have powers? Uhuhuh.

Now you know what i did last night. Right, i watched spiderman and resident evil.

Resident evil was freaking stupid. I wonder how people can actually like that show so much that there's even a resident evil 2.

I'm finally done with chem. I mean i'm finally done going through all of it once. Am gonna do a little math before going back to chem again. Banging on my chem 'cause i'm totally and i mean totally hopeless with the others, especially physics. So guess what, i'm gonna drop physics for this mid year exams! :)

I reckon having a F is better than having 3 Fs right?

Blog stuff at the wrong time

My template is changed! My taste too i reckon. Previously, i like those that you have to click everywhere to go everywhere in the blog. No more now. In fact, come to think of it, it seems a little kiddish. Time to grow up teresa! And i'm proud to say that..

Yes! I'm now a young adult.

See this template is simple and nice. Perfect for a young adult. Like me! :)

Man i'm always doing major blog stuff at crazy times. Guess when i started this account?

The week just before promos last year!

And what am i doing on the last sunday before the mid year's?

Changing the template!

See, this is a big-time procrastinator(slacker) right in front of you.

Now you know.

Note: I've only done alkanes, intro to organic chem, reaction kinetics, mass spec and nothing else.

-digs a hole and tries to bury self inside but to no avail-

-faints-

I feel terrible now.
A mix of feelings.
Don't know what to expect.

Dreams

I've been having dreams the past 3 nights. Very wierd as i usually only have dreams once in an extremely long while.

A girl that looked like sadako (is this how you spell it?) appeared in my first dream.

My second dream had swords, daggers and a severed hand. Great. I seriously think it's 'cause of that murder. Phew it ain't gory at all; big relief. In fact, it was nice and clean and placed in a glass container. Somewhat like a souvenir. Oh but good always triumphs evil in there. :)

I was at the swimming complex in my dream last night. There was this high platform thing that i went on - somewhat like the flying fox platform. And from there, i saw ena and sarah. Uhuh odd.

I wonder what do all this mean.

I've been a really big procrastinator(slacker). I've only done alkanes!

So dead. So dead.

Monday, June 20, 2005 @ 5:58 PM
Man what's wrong with me

Shit i've just wasted the whole afternoon on the computer.

So dead. I haven't hit the books yet. Like literally haven't touched my notes at all. It's still in a 50cm high stack on my tables. Gosh gosh gosh!

And my dad's gonna bring home another 45 vcds to watch tomorrow. I'm bound to not resist the temptation and will probably spend the next 4 days on it at the very least. My my my!!

Man why am i saying this but not intending to get off right now.

Damn. I'm a procrastinating freak!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!

Crap.

@ 1:33 PM
The Sunday Times

So i read yesterday's newspapers.

Singapore's gonna get like some $280million from 3 mega events over the next 15 months. Wow? Pardon my ignorance, but how do you actually do that? I'm hoping to earn my first million by the age of 25. Big dreams. :)

Roots. I've got some peranakan blood in me i think. Really feel like sending one of those cheek samples to national geographic. Who knows, maybe i actually have relations with south africans?

That murder everyone's been talking about. She's dead, he's caught. Ayy what's with the publicity? Will the inside story of her life in singapore help? Uhuh. The only reason i can think of is to get sympathy. Still she's from china and therefore should not have any relatives here right? Or am i wrong? Ok this is just so filled with questions. Oh but the police did a fantabulous job though! Cheerios to them.

Public shows of affection - already accepted still a big no-no here. What's the big deal? Just not too much, else it'll look ugly. Give them time to practise, they do need it. Was watching a hong kong serial the past week and i realised that asians indeed don't kiss as well as our western counterparts. Oh well, at least on tv. Actually, i've seen random such acts around, sometimes it's quite interesting.

Just some random thoughts.

LTC just rocks!

I managed to survive the last 2 weeks! :)

LTC camp ended yesterday. It was sorta wow!

Fortunately, i went to borrow a sleeping bag from amanda just the day before. Would have been a panda if not for that. Bunk was just a platform for us to sleep on. Food was only alright. Still ate alot though 'cause was always damn hungry at meal times.

Day 1: ice breakers, workshop, belaying school and solo walk
Our group's called freaky funky froggies haha.
Saw my group mates for the first time.
Oh well, 'cept for sherry that is.
Lucien, Eric, Kimberley, Shirlyn, Louelle, Desmond, Justin, Vanessa, Rachel, Jevan, Benjamin.
The only activity worth mentioning is the solo walk.
It was at night, like 11+pm.
But it wasn't all that creepy.
I saw almost all the marshals.
And spoke to most of them.
Told tiffany who was illuminated in green (by the light stick no doubt) that she was 'scary'. :)
I was really just kidding la 'cause she was the first marshal i saw haha. But i think she she got serious ayy.
Then siti and i were talking and admiring the stars at the open space halfway.
Wenjian was saying that there was a step in front. And guess what i did?
I walked there, bent down, then said 'ok there's a step' and walked past it haha.
Couldn't sleep well that night.
Oh and they were saying we have to eliminate the demotivators in our team during the workshop.
I was thinking.. Uh ain't that me? Haha.

Day 2: high elements, workshop
The best of all, high elements!
Gosh, it was just so fun la!
Flying fox, abseiling, challenge pole and all.
Ok i've to admit, i was a little scared when sitting at the edge to do the flying fox.
But it was soooo nice, sherry and i was just dying to have a second ride. It didn't come true though.
And sherry's just so drama-mama when she did the abseiling.
Surprise surprise! Pauline choy was the one who said that haha.
And i was up there literally laughing till i teared.
Even ms tan was saying 'huh? she's still up here?' haha.
The pe teachers were all there to help.
Too bad we missed doing the rock wall.
Oh but i was the girl climber for our group for the inter-group rock-climbing competition.
Duh we didn't win.
But all good! :)
The workshop was the one and only time the sailors came together.
Had to do a poster of sorts on what we saw ourselves in 2010 and the cca's shared vision and stuff.
Ours was damn pathetic la.
Black, blue, pink and 2 other pictures.
So not creative at all.
But at least not the worst. Uh i think haha.
We had 2 packets of m&m by the way for answering a question. :)

Day 3: Campfire, workshop (in place of amazing race), dragon boating.
Supposed to have an amazing race in the morning but it didn't work out due to rain.
So it's workshop again.
Watching of the first episode of band of brothers to be exact.
Almost died. It was so boring, i practically slept for 2/3 of the show haha.
So not a good leader.
Dragon boating was cool! But darn tiring. Our arms were all aching afterwards.
One of sarah's gm friends was our instructor.
His name is desmond.
He was like 'eh, are you sarah's sister?' and i was like 'uhuh'.
He even said sarah's a very good canoeist haha.
Didn't win the race at the end though. But we were all really pretty tired by then.
Campfire was just alright.
It was kinda screwed but well, i guess it ain't that obvious.
Ms yong is giving us a treat on saturday for that! :)
Everyone from our group went back to their bunks at about 1am.
Sherry and i were also walking back when we saw a group playing indian poker so we joined them.
Pretty cool haha. My first time playing that.

Day 4: PT, workshop and certificate
Morning pt turned out not so bad.
Endurance run didn't turn out like what we expected.
Thought i was gonna be some 10km run but it was not to be.
The rain saved us some i'm guessing haha.
Justin was asking us to pray for it to rain after the campfire the night before.
Photos of the camp were flashed in a slideshow just before we left. Brought back memories.
My group went to seoul garden for lunch after we reached school.
Very entertaining haha.
We had to be separated so sherry and i sat with desmond and eric.
Turned out the 4 of us were the last to finish haha. What's new yeah?
Played the number game and eric was just so unlucky haha.
That poor guy.

Kinda miss the camp now though i was so dying to be home during it.
Ayy what to do.
LTC rocks!

Happy girl

I did something that even the national sailors didn't know of today.
That's just so cool la.
Lol.
3 days into Laser Trophy. Proud to say, yes! i'm still surviving well haha.
Tired.
Update more sometime.
Oh but i've to say
I'm a happy girl! :)
