The last week there passed in a frenzy. Lunches with friends working in the area, with my colleagues and bosses, dinner & drinks with the team, worked till 11+pm with Colleague Sha on Thursday, and KTV and St James with some of my colleagues. Colleague J said I was in a holiday mood already which was true - even went Mambo on Wednesday and returned home only at 4am. It was one hell of a exhausting week but it was one of those weeks where you didn't mind being tired because everything was so enjoyable.
At the end, I really didn't wish to bid farewell because I couldn't bear to leave all of them. On the other hand, I was also quite thankful I was leaving because I realised I wouldn't have interacted with all of them as much as I had had I not thrown in the letter.
A prime example would be AM. I remember there was a Monday when I was the only one from my team in the office. Ultimate loneliness and boredom although come to think of it, it really shouldn't matter because the completion of our work didn't depend on each other. Anyway, thank goodness for that as it created the opportunity for AM and I to chat and chat we did, of anything and everything for literally the entire morning. And the opening line? 'You resigned?'
From left: Colleague Sha, Colleague S, Boss S, Colleague LL, me
Only Colleague Sha is left 'cause Colleague S' contract has expired and she doesn't wish to renew, and Colleague LL is on 4 months NPL.
The lady in white in the white beside the orange shirt guy is AM and the lady beside her is my Big Boss.
I've just met them for a gathering on Friday, or should I say gambling session. Fun much! I've moved out and on but I will always remember this bunch of fabulous people.
