It's that time of the year againI can't believe I have to go through this again.
I am asked to join the Arts management comm again! GAWD. I really can't decide. 'Cause I really felt quite BAH about my pulling out last year at the Arts Camp when I saw the people having so much fun. Only that was people I know and this time.. I only know one.
HOW HOW HOW?

080808 - 240808Beijing 2008 is over! ): ):
The closing ceremony was such a spectacular affair. I don't know whether to feel happy and proud or.. Well it's just the jealousy and envy speaking. After all, when we got to know that the Olympics was going to be hosted by Beijing a few years back, Sarah and I actually seriously considered going to watch. What could be a better time right? Just reached the able-to-travel-by-ourselves age and it's in China - China Chinese China Chinese. Think! Less monies for airfare, accommodation and shopping! Alas, it was not to be.
I so love the camaraderie. You know, watching them in action and on the podium brings back many memories. I want to be in such a circle again - athletes in the same sport knowing each other and competing against each other all in good spirit. Oh, except that Cuba taekwondo exponent who kicked the referee. He ought to be shot! So I've taken the first step in trying to be part of such an experience - I have applied to be a volunteer for YOG 2010 yay! (:

This is a day to be rememberedWe FINALLY received a message from Shauna! That girl.. :DDD
And I also finally finished FISH! for Life. I thought what better way to start the new sem than read a book that will
hopefully help me the next 4 months. DESPERATE for grades man!
(calling out to me) REMEMBER the Fish! Philosophy:
1) Play
2) Make their day
3) Be there
4) Attitude
AHH. My timetable sucks shit! On even Wednesdays, my day lasts from 8am to 6pm with 2 + 3 hours of break in between. DARN. I can't even go out with that kind of crappy timings.
Can I just say that watching the Olympics triggers many feelings - like I can relate to how they feel after they just missed out on the medals by the tiniest of margins, or get a medal by that similar margin. How I crave to be back in a competitive sport!

5 points short translates to 500 points moreI'm having a beyond BAD bidding exercise.
I can't say this enough- I love Grey's. I also love just hanging out and talking with Yin yesterday. Did I mention 2 friends just got attached recently? And I know all 4 of them. I quote from last week's Urban that I just read this morning, 'where's my man?'. :DD

I'm using Firefox!Okay nothing new BUT I'm happy to have finally figured out the solution to the problem I've been facing in posting. So it's actually IE and not Blogger.
I'm FINALLY unemployed WOOT. I don't think I have ever looked forward to the end of work this much before. They have asked me to go back to work part time but NO WAY am I returning to do the
saikang they give me. Though I don't mind their treats. (: 4 treats in 2 1/2 months is pretty good don't you think? Oh that's not including the company buffet dinner they had on a company staff meeting day.

The lunchmates - with a 2-day temp at my place and PM's friend - that made my days that much more enjoyable and seemingly shorter. Miss the emails, miss the sharing of desserts, miss the company.
