Allow me to wallow in self-pityI HATE HATE HATE MY JOB.
Last week, I argued with an unreasonable employee regarding his claim but my manager backed me up. And on the same day, my manager brought up an issue about me making many mistakes at work. Sigh, that was a terrible day.
Today, I cried at work. No, not because of any ill-treatment or anything bad. It's silly really. I cried because a payroll colleague came by my cubicle to talk/comfort me saying it's like that when starting out, don't get stressed and all that 'cause she had heard about the above incident. The truth is, I am not stressed, I am not affected by said incident (well, mostly), I just hate my work. I hate that the emphasis of my work is being careful and meticulous and I absolutely suck at that. I keep making mistakes and let's not talk about the people who have to clean up the shit with me, even I am sick of making them mistakes. It just dawned on me that I am in the exact job I was trying to avoid! BIG SIGHHH.
Have planned what to say during the exit interview. There's a poster in one of the meeting rooms quoting my company's chairman - "Every morning I look in the mirror and I feel a sense of excitement." - and I'll quote that 'cause seriously, there was never a day I felt that way ever since starting work. Econs Peeps can vouch for that.
On a lookout for jobs now. LOBANG LOBANG PLEASE COME TO ME!
