Bum bum bumThe people upstairs have been playing mahjong for 4 nights in a row! We should really make friends with them. (:
Nothing much has been happening 'cause I've turned into a 宅女 out of desperation. ): Driving's totally draining my bank account! So besides mahjong, driving and occasional lunches/dinners, I don't go out at all. Loner much?
And when I stay home, instead of job hunting, I watch movies. Kill me already! Like today, I watched District 9, Shutter Island, Avatar and a lame Chinese movie. Avatar actually had me hooked the entire 2 hours 41 minutes! Salute James Cameron.
Potluck drinks party later today but I don't know if I wanna go. Not in the mood to drink.. or rather puke. Haha. But it's also a good time to clear our stash of alcohol that has been accumulating at an alarming rate. So much so that Sissy S's been offering DFS drinks slots to friends. I think we probably have approximately 20 bottles. And we obviously aren't drinkers. ;)

First week as an unemployedGoing by last week's record, I think I can be a full-time mahjong player. :/ 5 consecutive days; Played so much I actually turned down a 6th. I mean c'mon, Sissy T never turns down a mahjong game unless there's something important like the exams. And since becoming an official social burden, I haven't had anything important so you can imagine how burnt out I was.
But.
All is well now! So the cycle repeats. Hopefully not as ridiculous as last week so that I can finally start on job hunting and China trip planning. Games tomorrow and Tuesday. Mahjong network's definitely expanding! (: And a MJ Sailing barbecue this Saturday. Going KL/Genting with S226 peeps at the end of June; Can't wait to go to the casino! Hurhur.
Going to embark on a veg/fruit diet next week with no oil and salt 'cause now not only is there a double chin, there is also a spare tyre! WOAH. Cannot take it. FAT TO THE MAX. Had a Sissys lunch this week at Gaia and I had the BEST seafood pancake EVER! I think the frequent accidental discoveries of best foods EVER these days is making me FATFATFAT as well. >.<
Watching Judging Amy now but stuck at Season 2 Episode 6 'cause the rest aren't uploaded yet. Ugh. PP has ended for now! BOOO. ): Grey's going to end next week. BOOOHOOO. ): ): Watched Iron Man 2 at the movies and honestly, it wasn't that great. I was drawn in only at the last 20 minutes perhaps.
I sympathise with those Bangkok residents stuck in this limbo. IMHO, the escalating situation is the result of the PM's reluctance to back down due to his ego. Pride - one of the 7 deadly sins.

Graduate lo!Done with my duties of a student, hopefully! (:
While studying for my final paper, I'd all sorts of distracting thoughts about driving, the sailors' gathering, travelling, beerfest, etc. then now I've no motivation to plan anything. Totally unproductive la! GAH. Leopard never changes its spots.
Instead, I watch Beauty or Beast in a night/morning and with YH's assistance, have a mahjong game planned. WOOTS. I miss mahjong a lot a lot man. Hopefully the afternoon game with Yin, Sam, and WL next week also works out then that'll be another mahjong game. WOOTS WOOTS. :D
When people ask me whether need to bring snacks and drinks when they come over, I say my house doesn't have titbits and soft drinks. In fact, my stash of alcohol is more than soft drinks (we don't have any, only Yakult/Vitagen) and increasing at quite an alarming rate with Sissy S's frequent travels. :/ But I suddenly thought, eh if we don't have those junk stuff, then why are we all so
tua jia (big-sized)?!?! Please don't tell me it's 'cause of fat genes! That will totally shatter my slim, toned, hot bod dream!!
Kay, I need to start planning for Sissys trip so that we can get cheap cheap cheap air tickets. My dwindling bank account numbers is beginning to worry me A LOT. Lowest numbers I've ever had since ever! Three digits! BAH.
And the weather these days is CRAZY. HOT HOT HOT then drizzle (not even heavy downpour) then HUMID HUMID HUMID. As such, I've borrowed Six Degrees to see if we'll cease to exist soon. Then I can quit worrying about that 3-digit sum in bank account.
I hate all that tip-toeing. >.<

The littlest thingsThis has been a special week. Not that any outstanding thing happened but a couple of little ones stirred some thoughts.
I fell 3 times within 3 hours this week. Sissy S and R laughed at me; they said 1 fall per hour is very usual, dripping with sarcasm of course. I find it incredulous as well. But it was really strange. I was telling Sissy R that I remembered feeling the same feelings I had when my legs just wouldn't stop giving way under me outside the exam hall even though I haven't come across such a situation before. Then she said, 'It could be
deja vu.'. I think she's right. The scene, the helpless and pissed feeling - it fits my memory perfectly. We usually deem the ability to walk as some sort of right and take it for granted. This incident has shown me how important this ability is to me. I know I'll be devastated if I should ever - touchwood! - not be able to walk.
On a more positive note, the sinseh asked if I like running - I said NO! - 'cause he said I've firm thigh muscles! :D The effects from hiking out hasn't completely disappeared WOOT. You know how I motivated myself when hiking out in strong winds in the past? I told myself, 'Okay don't be lazy, straighten your back and work out those 'abs' so that you can have nice, toned abs.' Serious! XD Well, obviously I didn't have abs, never managed to attain nice, toned abs, and let's just say the region has gotten very much worse since. SIGH.
And although my exams hasn't ended, I've been watching the highly recommended Taiwan idol drama 败犬女王 the past 3 days. Finally finished it today with some tears dropped here and there. :X I've realised this past week that physical pain I can take but a strike to the heart I can't. I didn't cry after that first fall that sprained my ankle even though it was so damn painful I actually wondered how I was going to go to the exam hall from the library. I cry when I'm touched. I cry when I'm angry. I cry when I regret. I cry when I feel alone. I cry when I'm made to leave things I love behind. So I cried during that big fight some time back. I cried when I was alone in Suzhou. I cried at the 2nd Arts Camp because I realised the true joy and fun I had during my 1st camp with Shamari I'll never get anywhere again. I cried because Grandpa didn't get to see our vacation photos as I'd procrastinated. I cried when I foolishly told D that I didn't want to be friends with her any more. But I'm not weak.
The show also made me wonder if I've indeed been waiting for you all this while..
Sissy S and I had a friendly jabbing session last night and during the exchange, it occurred to me that I can't remember the last time we did this. I mean, we do talk but usually it's about serious stuff. It's odd that it's become so rare I began appreciating it.
Can you believe I would rather go to Courts then watch a paid movie? Ip Man 2 some more. Am I turning into a domestic goddess?!
Shoutout: G and F - you are definitely friends who matter! :D
