Expectations

As people get closer, expectations grow. You try to live up to these expectations and expect the other party to try to do the same. It's true what they say: The higher your expectations, the harder you fall.

I came with an expectation, just one expectation, and it was a simple one at that. Now it wouldn't have been so bad if you had tried to fulfil it, just like how I know I would have done for you. The thing here is trust; I had trusted that you would make an effort. Which you didn't. It can be likened to somewhat a broken 'promise'.

So no, I'm not sorry, I won't show remorse, and I won't try to make amends.
