MoviesHave been quite the movie junkie recently. Just watched two rather poignant movies yesterday and today. Both have something in common - the theme of discrimination. In Gran Torino, it was discrimination against Asians and the weak (gangsterism). I must say Clint Eastwood's depiction of Walt as a lonely and pained Korean War veteran was very convincing. And in Milk - discrimination against homosexuals. Sean Penn definitely turned in a commendable performance as Harvey Milk and I realised at the end of the movie that he also resembled the real Harvey Milk a lot.
I am Harvey Milk and I am here to recruit you.
